2 weeks in Argentina in February

My buddy and I are planning on flying into Buenos Aries and spending the last two weeks of February seeing the country. We're interested in spending half our time checking out some natural wonders and taking part in some cool outdoor activity. We're also looking to hit up the club scene in Buenos Aires or other hot spots around. Would taking 5 days to fly to Rio de janeiro make sense? Neither of us have been to South America and looking to see as much as we can at a medium pace. It sounds like an apartment in BA would be the way to go to? How convenient/cheap is bus travel through the country and to Brazil or Uruguay? Thanks for any input

3 weeks in Argentina, hints and tips and my pencilled in itinery

fly into BA, arriving Oct 23 for 3 weeks and at the moment I'm thinking of having a few days there, catching a flight down to El Calafate for a bit of exploring of the park, glacier and surrounding area.

Fom there I'll fly back to BA and probably go up to Salta, possibly by train/bus and when there take the train to the clouds and explore around the area.
A few questionsL-

Any suggestions of "must do's" in BA other than the normal ones?

I'm thinking of having 5-7 days in and around El Calafate, would this be about right?

Also the journey from BA to Salta is this possibly by train/bus, how long would it roughly take and any places on route that I should take in?

Please if you're answering directly could you send the answer to leapinglee@yahoo.co.uk, I don't seem to be able to change my email address on bootsnall and so they have an old one I can't access!

Thanks

2 week itinerary

Hello, we are planning two weeks in Argentina in September. Definite destinations are Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls. We would also like to visit some wine territory close to the Andes. Wondering about flying into BA or can we fly to Igazu from somewhere else between there and Chicago that would be cheaper?, then doing BA in the middle, and then going west to a destination you'd suggest. Initially thought Mendoza, crossing over to Santiago to fly home, but we are open. Do not want to cross back and forth to and from BA just to fly in and out. Thanks, Jenniah

We are planning a trip to Buenos Aires, Igauzu Falls and Mendoza this July. Are there deluxe buses to these cities easily available after we arrive in BA or should one try to make advance reservations? We like to be independent travelers and not go on

Ok, so i know the price varies wildly- and i'm known to be a bit of a scrooge. But when it comes to doing something as potentially dangerous as this mountain, i want to know who the leaders are in this area.....anyone been there done that & can advise me on this??
