Since it has not been 5 years, I cannot go get a new vaccination from a private doctor who would issue the booklet. Will this official DOD documentation work? It shows date, lot number and location of the shot. While planning my trip i have just realised that i will be traveling down from Uyuni in Bolivia to Salta in Argentina and to Calma in Chile during Carnival. would it be wise to pre-book accommodation? and will tours and public transport be hard to find because of crowds and the public holiday? Should i try and stay in one place for the entire carnival? or will moving from town to town and country to country be possible? ADVICE PLEASE!!! We hope to stay in rio for 10nights, from the 10th of Feb to 20th. Thing is we know rates go up for that time, but we don't know are we getting ripped off on the net compared to what we would get if we are actually there? The cheapest we seem to be able to get is $1800 for the 10 nights in a very basic b&b between copacabana and ipenema beach. Is this decent or should we keep looking?
