Question

Orbitello lodgings and sites??

I'm going to Italy for the first time in about 2 months, so I have a few questions. I'll feed them in one at a a time so as not to make a nuisance.

First, I'm going to spend a few days at Orbeteiio (on the west coast a bit south of the island of Elba). I'm going primarily to see the Tarot card sculpture garden, which I gather is somewhere around here. Does anyone know for sure how to get there. Is Orbitello a good place to stay, any recommendations for reasonably-priced lodgings and places to eat and other things to see? Since it's only a few days, I don't need a kitchen, but generally prefer B & B arrangements to hotels.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, Paget:

I've not been to Orbitello, but I've heard good things about it - so I think you'll be fine there. And from what I hear, it's very much a B&B kind of place, rather than a place full of big chain hotels. If I remember right, there's a language school there for foreigners learning Italian.

Ciao,
Jessica
