Question
Is there a ferry service from Athens or the Greek Islands to Cyrpus and then on to Beirut?
I'm trying to get to Beirut by boat and eventually fly out of Lebanon to catch a leg on my RTW plane ticket in Bahrain on to Delhi. Just need to ensure I can get to Lebanon so I can fly out of there. Otherwise I have to backtrack to Paris to get my RTW flight.

It's unlikely you'll be able to do this trip by ferry.
There is frequent service from Greece to Cyprus. gtp.gr should have the details on schedules.
Onwards, though, is another story. I'm not aware of any service from Cyprus to Lebanon at this time. It has been on again, off again in the past, and for the first time in several years, there was service to Israel, Syria and Egypt in 2008, so there is hope that Lebanon may resume soon. Check with Varianos Travel as your dates get closer to see if something turns up.
If the ferry doesn't work, you can still do your route by flying. Both
Aplogies - my post got cut off.
As I was saying, Cyprus Airways and Middle East Airlines fly from Larnaca to Beirut for under $200, and Olympic flies Athens-Beirut for about $250. So that's an option that doesn't require backtracking to Paris.
