Is it necessary to have the vaccinations typhoid and Hep A for Thailand?

Only visiting Bangkok and Hua Hin at a resort for 10 days.

Typhoid probably isn't such a big deal. Hep A would be good if you are getting out in rural areas though, or if you like to eat lots of street food. Happy travels!

Dear Kezza,
Yes, it is neccessary for those vaccinations, if im not mistaken, I believe you need a yellow fever vaccination as well.

By the way, my experience there was 9 months in a rural area... I only had the Hep A, but both typhoid and yellow fever were suggested. We had no problems, and never heard of anybody with problems concerning typhoid and yellow fever. I did witness a local incident with Hep A. Peace.
