i need info. on the cameroon airport located in duoala

cameroon international airlines please provide me with a toll free telephone number if available also a web address will help. i am suppose to be receiving my adopted pet through their service does anyone have any suggestions on a way for me to confirm that my pet is there at the airport before i send any money i did receive a call from someone claiming to work at the airport telling me they have been trying to contact me but i cant make international calls to verify if the call truely came from the airport

I have been to the Cameroon aiport once and found it to be filled with dishonest people. Some were wonderful of course but there aren't any safeguards to protect people from the dishonest. I bought an airline ticket, in person, only to find out the next day when I went to use the ticket that it was counterfeit. It looked the same as a real one to me but I had to purchase another one. My suggestion is to not turn over any money at all until you receive your pet. If the person tells you that they do not do cash on delivery, then you know the person is trying to deceive you. I work for an airline and we hear frequently about animals, mostly puppies, shipment scams from Douala, Cameroon. Scammers use airline logos and misleading e-mails addresses for communication and will usually contact the customer pretending that the animal is withheld at customs and ask for additional money.

Unless you confirm the status of a shipment directly with the airline cargo department, do no send any money. This may prove difficult in your case as Cameroon Airlines ceased all operations a couple of months ago. Report the fraud.
