I am looking for destination spots in Beijing can you help me

The places listed are "tourist destinations" and must sees, but I'd definitely try to check out the hutongs (ancient style housing) before it's all destoryed. The Chinese government has been knocking down hutongs in order to build high rises in time for this summer's olympics. Tragic really.

I thought seeing Chairman Mao's Mausoleum was pretty cool...yet creepy. It's located in Tiennamen Square and next to the Forbidden City, so you could do all of those in one day.

For the great wall you'll need to take a bus or hire a car to take you, as it is a little ways outside of Beijing. However it is definitely worth the time and money. The hype is real...it is amazing!

Get yourself a good guide book about Beijing. The list given to you is a good start, but there are many other things in Beijing...depending on what your interest is in....such as the Great Hall of the People, The Taoist temple complex, Museums....
