How safe is it to travel in south africa as a single white female
i'm going from durban to cape town - thinking of using Baz Bus? and was planning on staying in hostels? how safe do you think it is?

Dear Cbenj,
South Africa has alot of resident white people / females therefore it's very hard for the locals to know whether you are a foreigner.However,all African Countries are safe like your own country as long as you take precautions.Don't walk at late night,carry a lot of money,accessories etc and you will be more than fine.Continue on your Holiday plans.
