Avg room rate in Rio for Carnival
Hey,
Looking for some help please! we are a couple looking for a private double in rio for carnival. We hope to stay in rio for 10nights, from the 10th of Feb to 20th. Thing is we know rates go up for that time, but we don't know are we getting ripped off on the net compared to what we would get if we are actually there? The cheapest we seem to be able to get is $1800 for the 10 nights in a very basic b&b between copacabana and ipenema beach. Is this decent or should we keep looking? Is haggling a realistic option for that time of year?THanks

everything gets booked so i'm not sure how far haggling will get u. In between copacabana and ipenema beaches is the best area to stay in rio. If you want something a bit cheaper u can look outside those areas.
I'm not sure about prices for a private room...I stayed in a hostel.
