Insider for: Portland
I'm working with BootsnAll to build Insiders 2.0. I love to travel but my travels are nowhere near as extensive as the average BootsnAll member! I lived in Berlin, Germany for about a year and made some trips to Poland, Czech, and Hungary while I was there. I DO know all about Portland Oregon and am getting pretty good with San Francisco. If you have feedback on the alpha, please send it to feedback@bootsnall.com

Insider for: Netherlands Antilles, Chicago, Eugene
I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and began his journey in 1994 with a year of study at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. His studies and travels there inspired him as he met travellers from all over the world. He quickly learned that a holiday can be more than 1 week next to the pool in warm weather. Following his return to Chicago and graduation from University, he departed 1996 on a whirlwind tour of England and Scotland with 3 Australian friends. He has since continued his journey alone through countries such as Ireland, France, Greece, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Tibet, Kazakstan, and his native United States. Sean is known for his limitless enthusiasm, voracious appetite for learning, an uncanny resemblance to Silent Bob, and a habit of exposing his bollocks in public places. Sean's boots are "Dexter's" and have proved amazingly resilient to the point of having to be re-soled, twice. Sean hopes to continue his travels in the near future, but for now will have to be content watching and reading about others. He dreams of someday sailing around the world, stopping at ports for months on end, reading, discovering, and learning from people without time and money constraints (Don't we all!).

Insider for: Europe
Hi, I'm a 19-year-old male currently residing in sunny Tampa, FL. I got my first taste of international travel when I was 14 and went on a two-week high school trip to France & Spain and again with my high school to France & Italy two years later. I had the fortune of befriending an exchange student from Germany and being able to go on my first adventure of my own to see him in Germany for two weeks. About a month after this I was offered the amazing opportunity to spend my first year of college studying in Florence, Italy and I did just that. I lived in Florence for about 10 months and left at the end of May \'08. Between my traditional studies I tried to get out and travel as much as possible whether it was actually leaving Florence or Italy or just absorbing the sights and sounds of my temporary, foreign home. I enjoy sharing any knowledge I have gained with ours, so that hopefully they can have an even better travel experience armed with knowledge which I can share.

Insider for: Tuscany
Whilst chilling out on my own (from a high pressure job) in Tuscany, I fell in love with a Florentine goldsmith in San Gimignano. It is a special place and there is nothing like sitting on the steps of the Duomo as the sun starts to go down with a Tahitian choir sat all around you practising an exquiste piece, to sooth the soul... I defy anyone in those circumstances not to fall in love with Italy, her people, and the slower pace of life...
We now have a workshop in Maremma, Italy (www.pallanti.com if you are interested) and are exploring this undiscovered and breathtakingly beautiful land. I am writing a Travel Guide - www.maremmaguide.com - to share it with others.
Ciao Donna

Insider for: Argentina, Buenos Aires
I love who I become when I travel. Traveling is a passion for me and I love to share information and my experiences of the places I visit. I like to find the hidden gems in a country, town or city, and tell others how they can get there too. I love to be adventurous and I am very curious, coming across in a non-threatening and non-invasive way, so I can find things and get information that the average "tourist" doesn't always get. I have been traveling internationally since I was in high school, and although having had a recent travel dry spell, I am back in the swing. I'm always looking for a deal, but as the adventurous traveler that I am, I am really all of those things listed. Backpacking / Bicycling through France, drinking my way through vineyards in Argentina, traveling with an organized tour that includes gourmet food and five-star hotels in Italy, planning to live somewhere outside of my native country of the US sometime in the very near future. Crazy travel stories...ok, I got one for ya. After high school, I went to Buenos Aires for five weeks and stayed with two different families. In my second family, I fell completely head over heels for the oldest boy, who was just a year younger than I was. We tried to keep the relationship going, but not yet being as global-minded as I am now, we broke up and lost touch, only being in contact about once every decade. Last year, after 28 years, we reconnected online and I'm planning to move to Buenos Aires so we can be together. Pretty crazy, I'd say. And now, I'm looking forward to the ultimate trip.
